Delta, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Light, pale lemon yellow in colour, the 2007 vintage has tremendous intensity on the nose, with perfumes of passion fruit and blackcurrants. On the palate, it is clean and fresh, with good balance between elegant, ripe fruit, crisp minerally acidity and a long, perfumed finish.

Tinpot Hut Syrah 2006

Although not so suitable for Pinot Noir, the warmer Hawkes Bay climate is ideal for bigger reds. This plummy Syrah has a lovely silkiness and smoky pepper complexity. Much more of a Northern Rhone style of Syrah, than fruitier New World Shiraz. Sommelier Wine Awards 2008 Gold Medal.
